From rainwater for the toilets to solar energy to heat and cool the building - Who knew the Germans cared so much for the environment? And what's with McDonald's? Does it seem strange that a company that brought us the Big Mac and the most delicious French Fries ever on the face of the earth is going green? I don't know about you, but at first blush, it seemed to be a complete contradiction - apple slices in their happy meals aside. But there's no doubt Mickey D's is a corporate machine and is known for giving the people what they want! In Germany, they want sustainability.
Now, if McDonald's is doing it...
